Do you know how much the dehumidification dryer affects injection molding?

2018-07-31

1. The water in the plastic raw material can be taken away to eliminate the generation of bubbles, so that the product achieves very ideal mechanical, electrical, dimensional stability and flat appearance.

2. Prevent the generation of defective products and return loss, greatly reduce the generation of waste; make the excellent rate of products reach 99%, greatly reducing the loss of materials,

3. Compared with traditional hot air drying, dehumidifying dryer has good dehumidification effect and short dehumidification time. Because dehumidifying dryer uses very dry air for dehumidification work, it can greatly shorten the drying time and save man-hours. Create more profits;

4. The air line of the dehumidifying dryer adopts a sealed circulation system and is equipped with a filter, so it is not affected by the external weather and can prevent dust from being polluted in the factory, creating a beautiful working environment for you.

How to achieve the highest drying efficiency?

A good drying efficiency determinant has the following four points: drying temperature, drying time, air volume, dew point. These four factors are interlocking, and any change in conditions will affect the drying effect.

The drying temperature refers to the temperature of the air entering the drying drum. Each material has a certain temperature limit due to its physical properties such as molecular structure, specific gravity, specific heat, moisture content, etc. When the temperature is too high, the raw material will be in the raw material. Some of the additives volatilize or agglomerate, too low, and some crystalline raw materials can not reach the required drying conditions, such as: PC / 120 ° C, ABS / 80 ~ 95 ° C. In addition, insulation insulation is required in the selection of dry barrels to avoid leakage of drying temperature, resulting in insufficient drying temperature or waste of energy.

The drying time refers to the pre-drying time before the raw material is formed. If the drying time is too long, the raw material will deteriorate or agglomerate or waste energy. If the drying time is too short, the water content will be too high. For example: PC / 3-4 hours, ABS / 3-4 hours.

Air volume is the only medium to take away the moisture in the raw materials. The amount of air volume will affect the dehumidification effect. If the air volume is too large, the return air temperature will be too high, causing overheating and affecting the stability of the dew point. If the air volume is too small, the moisture in the raw material cannot be completely taken away. The air volume also represents the dehumidification capacity of the dehumidifying dryer.

The dew point temperature refers to the temperature at which the gas is cooled to condense the moisture contained therein into water droplets, and is a unit for measuring the degree of drying (wet) of the gas. The less moisture in the gas, the lower the dew point temperature. A good dehumidifying dryer should have a dew point of -40 ° C dew point.
