Performance principle of dehumidifying dryer

2018-08-02

Plastic materials and air are a trade-off. If the moisture in the air (water content) is the moisture content inside the plastic material, the material will slowly absorb the moisture in the air until the inside is saturated. On the contrary, when the moisture (water content) in the air is lower than the moisture content inside the plastic material, the air will slowly absorb the moisture inside the raw material to achieve a balance between the internal moisture content of the raw material and the moisture content of the air.

Dehumidifying dryers use this feature to complete the dehumidification of raw materials. When the dew point of the dehumidifying dryer is lowered to -40 ° C, the moisture content of the air in the closed system inside the dehumidifying dryer has been reduced to zero, so that the dry air can be used to blow the moisture-containing raw material to achieve drying. The effect is to analyze the water in the raw material.
